What Else Does ‘G’ Mean?

We all know that ‘G’ stands for generation when we are talking about the mobile cellular technology but what else can it mean? In Wi-Fi when we talk about ‘G’, we are usually referring to the frequency in GHz. Similarly, when we talk about Fibre networks, ‘G’ refers to the speed in Gbps for the transport networks.
